Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Big Countdown ("the Service"), an online countdown timer for events. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts

You need an account (email or Google) to use the timer. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity on your account. You must be at least 18, or have the permission of a legal guardian.

2. Free plan and lifetime license

• The free plan lets you run timers of up to 3 minutes, with no time limit on the plan itself.
• The lifetime license is a one-time payment of $29 USD that unlocks unlimited timer lengths for one account. It is not a subscription and will not renew.
• "Lifetime" means for as long as the Service is operated. If we ever shut it down, we will give at least 60 days' notice.

3. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service: no attempts to bypass plan limits, attack or overload our systems, resell or share accounts, or upload unlawful or infringing content (including logos you have no rights to).

4. Your content

Logos, topic names and settings you add stay yours. They are stored in your browser and used only to display your timer.

5. Availability

We aim for reliable service but provide it "as is". We are not liable for indirect losses, such as an event running over time. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us.

6. Payments

Payments, taxes and refunds are covered in our Payments & Refunds policy. Our order process may be handled by a reseller acting as Merchant of Record.

7. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these Terms.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with an updated date.
